On 31 October 2024, the H2FlowTrace project was featured in the online European Metrology Network for Energy Gases Workshop which was organised by EURAMET – The European Association of National Metrology Institutes.
Our H2FlowTrace coordinator, Remy Maury from Cesame Exadebit participated in the event sharing an overview of the freshly started project, its scope and methodology. He highlighted the crucial role H2FlowTrace plays in the development of the required metrological infrastructure for hydrogen uptake, in order to overcome flow metrology barriers such as the lack of traceable calibration facilities, lack of accuracy data, among others.
The main aim of the workshop was to bring the network’s innovative research projects and initiatives to the spotlight and create the perfect occasion for participants to engage in insightful discussions, exchange valuable metrological expertise, and contribute with their inputs to the future of renewable energy.
The EMN for Energy Gases aims to provide measurement science expertise to crucial stakeholders from industry and society, supporting the implementation of the energy transition on renewable gaseous fuels.
